Come and join us on Sundays at 10:15am to learn practical ways that we can put our faith and what we learn from the bible into action. The LIVE Curriculum is designed to make learning the stories of the Bible both easy and fun... We hope to see you on Sunday!
This year we will be teaching and learning from Gods word using the LIVE Curriculum from Group Publishing. I have looked at more than 8 different curriculum sets and this is the one that I feel would most reach our youth, their families and the teachers. The lessons are laid out in a very easy to follow yet powerful manner. Every lesson is customizable so that our teachers can have the flexibility to add and subtract portions to best suit the lesson to the students. With this Junior High specific study our younger youth will be able to begin strengthening their spiritual walks Christ without being confused or misunderstood. I am extremely excited to see just how God uses this learning series to change the lives of our youth!
Our High School youth will be learning from the LIVE curriculum series as well. The age appropriate, custmizable and inspirational lessons will help our youth learn who they are in God. The Spiritual Groundwork will be laid first in this study so that the foundation of faith will be strong and ready to be built upon. I have read through many of the lessons and I feel that every one of them have very specific and clear point to them. They make the lessons of the Bible relevant to todays teens and that is important when looking for a curriculum. I feel that our HS Youth will no doubt benefit greatly from attending and learning with us every Sunday throughout the school. I am looking forward to what God has in store for this years Christ FOCUS classes!

7th - 12th grade Youth are invited to join us on Sunday morning at 10:15 in the Youth Hall above the Family Life Center (a.k.a. "the gym"). The classes are staffed by caring, knowledgeable and well-trained adults. Come Early and enjoy the goodies of SonRise Cafe!
Middle School: Room 202 with Darren & LaNita Gardner and Courtney Broom
9th-10th Grade: Room 203 with Carla Schingle, Sandy Fife and Kathy Terry
11th-12th Grade: Room 205 with Steve Terry, Kate Wallace and Rachel Escamilla
