We are excited about finding ways for our children to share the love of Christ with others. We look for opportunities throughout the year for our children to be in mission to others that is both age-appropriate and enjoyable.
Some activities our children have participated in recently involve assembling toiletry items to be delivered to Haiti; greeting our soldiers at DFW Airport; hosting an ice-cream social for families staying at Ronald McDonald House; and honoring our veterans at a special Veteran’s Day church service.
Upcoming Mission Opportunities:
Nov 6 - Children's Sabbath/Veteran's Sunday - The children have an opportunity to be involved in both the 9:00 and 10:15 services as part of the church worship team, assisting in many roles such as scripture reading, collection of the offering, and participating in a special recognition of our veterans. Any adult who is a veteran and part of our church needs to be sure their name is on the Veteran's list posted in the Narthex starting October 9th.
