Hello and Welcome to the Youth Ministry Page of the Christ UMC website!!! My name is Chris Boyle and I am the Director of Youth Ministries here at CUMC. I will be entering my fourth year of full time ministry this fall and am more excited and passionate today than I was even when I started. The youth and members of Christ UMC have long been known as a big, open and welcoming family which is exactly the way it should be. As believers in Jesus Christ we are all brothers and sisters in his grace, hope and love. My wife Kristin and I have been blessed with a 2-1/2 year named Keagan as well as an 1 year old named Logan. Raising our family in this church is special to us and we would love the opportunity to learn and grow along side you and your family for many years to come. Luke 10:38-42 tells us the story of how two sisters, Mary and Martha, chose to spend their time with Jesus. Martha was hard at work, doing great stuff and making sure everything got done; but she missed the joy that Mary experienced by simply playing and hanging out with Jesus. As the stress of the fall schedule starts to close in on you I would like to invite you to, with that scene of Mary, Martha and Jesus in your head, look at the areas of your life in which you are too busy to play and relax with Jesus. Maybe it is time that you sit down and ask God to help you develope a Mary-like spirit in those areas... Then start playing and experiencing the love of Jesus!
