| ChristCare
groups are for everyone: the new Christian as well as the lifetime
believer, the quiet as well as the outgoing. ChristCare groups are
places where every person experiences the acceptance and love of
Jesus Christ. Whether you have just joined our Christ Church congregation
or have been a faithful member all of your life, there is a ChristCare
group that is right for YOU!
Four
Elements of a
ChristCare Group
Study.
ChristCare groups provide a way of adding meaning to your life by
exploring God’s word with a small group of Christians. They
provide a disciplined way of studying the Bible for the purpose
of hearing and understanding God’s word more clearly. ChristCare
groups study the Bible for the purpose of equipping persons to live
as Jesus’ disciples.
Caring.
It is important to have a place where "everybody knows your
name." ChristCare groups are just such places. ChristCare group
members give and receive Christ’s care. In a ChristCare group,
you never have to go through a tough time alone, whether it is a
major crisis or just the bumps and bruises of daily life. ChristCare
groups are circles of care.
Prayer
and Worship. Prayer and worship in ChristCare groups provide
groups members with a deliberate way of drawing closer to and building
a relationship with God. ChristCare groups experience worship in
a variety of meaningful ways.
Mission
Service. ChristCare groups provide a way for us to fulfill
our God-given calling to love God and others, and to make disciples.
ChristCare groups are mission oriented. They provide a variety of
ways for persons to put their faith into action.

EMERGO means to rise up, to emerge, to stand victorious. Our mission
is: To rise up to the adventure and purpose that God has for us
to rise up to seeking God, growing in our faith, trust, and knowledge
in him to rise up to our responsibility we have to our wives, children,
selves, friends, and work to rise up to be leaders of our church
and support our clergy, staff, and congregation to rise up and show
God's love and strength to others.
EMERGO is a Christ Care group and is geared to the lifestyle of
the modern, Christian man. EMERGO consists of a wide variety of
men of different backgrounds. We are men setting an example for
our kids, peers, families, and church; men challenging the model;
men breaking the mold; men stepping out of our boundaries and comfort
zones; men learning to be real men; MEN being MEN the way God made
us to learn to better serve Him.
