TRAINING TIP:
When
we joined our church we pledged to support CUMC with our PRAYERS,
PRESENCE, GIFTS, and SERVICE. When we focus on doing these 4 things,
we not only support the church, but we become STRONGER ourselves.
It’s like working out… when you train for an athletic
event, that training has to include the following to be successful:

You
have to be dedicated to it in
your mind (prayer)
-
You
have to show up for your training (presence)
-
It
costs you something: time, fees, money spent on equipment- (gifts)
-
And, you get something out of it… (service)
What
was that last one??? Service means you get something out of it?
Absolutely! By serving others, you will always come away with
more than you gave – Give it a TRY!
